The short version: Mental Penguin games don't collect, store or share your personal data.

This policy covers Banners & Legends and the other games and apps made by Mental Penguin (Simon), on every platform they're released on, and this website, mentalpenguin.com.

In our games

• Saved games, settings, unlocks and achievements are stored only on your own device.
• There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking in the games.
• You don't need an account, and the games work without an internet connection.
• If you choose to send a turn to a friend (for example by WhatsApp), the game hands a text code to your device's own sharing feature. The app you choose sends that message. We never see or store it.
• Links in the game (such as “Get the full game”) open a web page in your browser. That site's own privacy policy then applies.

Buying a game

When you buy a game through a store such as itch.io, Google Play or Steam, the store handles your payment and account under its own privacy policy. We don't receive your card details. Stores may tell us basic sale information, such as that a purchase happened.

This website

• No cookies, no ads and no tracking scripts. Everything on the site is served from mentalpenguin.com itself.
• Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security and to keep the site running.

Emails

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and don't share them with anyone.

Children

Our games don't knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
